STEP 1 - Pre-enrolment Review Form

To enable VUIT Staff to make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed with your course application, please open the form at the link provided and follow instructions on the form.

Chick here to access the form.

STEP 2 - Obtain your Unique Student Identifier (USI)

What is a USI?

If you're studying nationally recognised training in Australia from 1 January 2015, you will be required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).

Your USI links to an online account that contains all your training records and results (transcript) that you have completed from 1 January 2015 onwards. Your results from 2015 will be available in your USI account in 2016.

When applying for a job or enrolling in further study, you will often need to provide your training records and results (transcript). One of the main benefits of the USI is the ability to provide students with easy access to their training records and results (transcript) throughout their life.

You can access your USI account online from your computer, tablet or smart phone anytime.

How to get a USI

It's free and easy to create your own USI and will only take a few minutes of your time. Or if you like you can learn more about the steps to create a USI.

STEP 3 - Enrolment

Terms & conditions for enrolling

There are certain conditions that all students are expected to meet in order to study at Victoria University (VU). Other conditions are more specific, and may be based on your particular course of study, or external factors such as whether you're an Australian citizen. All current or prospective VU students should be aware of the conditions that affect them. Click HERE for further information regarding these terms and conditions.

STEP 4 - Language, Literacy & Numeracy Assessment (LLN)

Please click on the link below and access the online assessment using the Login and Password provided to you in your Welcome Email.

This website works more efficiently used in conjunction with the internet browser Google Chrome (a link is provided below if you wish to download).

Note: You must complete this assessment in one sitting, you cannot save and come back in at a later time/date.  Assessment will take approximately 10 minutes.

STEP 5 - Assessing Your Eligibility

The Victorian Training Guarantee makes vocational training more accessible to people who do not hold a post-school qualification, or who want to gain a higher level qualification than they already hold.

Click HERE to access further information on your eligibility for The Victorian Training Guarantee.

      STEP 6 - Fees

When you enrol in a course, re-enrol or change your enrolment, an invoice is generated with the amount you are required to pay. It is important for you to understand what fees are involved, and to ensure that your enrolment, fee and personal details are correct.

Eligible students enrolled in a VE/TAFE course who are not eligible for VET-FEE HELP, may be eligible to pay for their course fees via instalments.

This option is made available to students by a Payment Plan Option.

Click on the links below to access information regarding fees, VET-FEE HELP, payment plan option and refund rules.
